Sumant Krishnan MD
Sumant "Butch" Krishnan, MD is an internationally renowned orthopedic surgeon specializing in arthroscopy, reconstructive, and replacement surgery of the shoulder. Dr. Krishnan and The Shoulder Center have a mission to share innovative techniques with surgeons in the United States and abroad. He has published scientific papers, technique articles, book chapters, award-winning surgical technique videos, and has lectured and operated worldwide on shoulder problems ranging from total shoulder replacement to rotator cuff repair and shoulder instability. Dr. Krishnan is the author of a textbook dedicated to the care of shoulder injuries in throwing athletes entitled, "The Shoulder and The Overhead Athlete".
