Nabil Mehta Dr
Dr. Nabil Mehta is currently a shoulder and elbow surgeon at EmergeOrtho in Durham, NC. After graduating with a BSE in bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Mehta completed a research fellowship in orthopedic sports medicine at the Hospital for Special Surgery in New York City. He received his medical degree from Brown University, where he was elected into the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. Following medical school, Dr. Mehta completed his residency training in orthopedic surgery at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. He followed his residency training with a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery at the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute in Philadelphia, conducting rigorous training with world leaders in complex shoulder and elbow reconstruction.
As a child of first-generation Indian immigrants, Dr. Mehta is excited to be a part the IASES to further its mission and create a lasting network of colleagues and mentors. Outside of clinical care, Dr. Mehta enjoys running, working on his golf game, and spending time with his family.
