Nabil Mehta, MD
Nabil Mehta is currently a fifth-year Orthopedic Surgery resident at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago, IL. He received a BSE in Bioengineering from the University of Pennsylvania and his medical degree from the Warren Alpert Medical School of Brown University. His interest in Shoulder and Elbow surgery began through instrumental mentors early in his career and has spurred many academic and clinical pursuits that have shaped his ideal practice. His goal is to become proficient in complex arthroscopic and open shoulder and elbow surgeries, establish a career as a clinician-scientist, and develop a deeper understanding of the field by exploring his research interests. As a child of first-generation Indian immigrants, he is excited to join the IASES to further its mission and create a lasting network of colleagues and mentors. In August 2023, Nabil will be attending the Rothman Orthopaedic Institute at Thomas Jefferson University for a fellowship in Shoulder and Elbow Surgery.
