Dr. Giri is a dual fellowship-trained Sports and Complex Trauma surgeon. He completed his Orthopaedic Residency at Government Mohan Kumaramangalam Medical College and Hospital, Salem, India. He did the Trauma and Limb Reconstruction Surgery fellowship at the Ganga Hospital, Coimbatore, which is one of the leading trauma centers in India. He completed his Arthroscopy and Sports Medicine Fellowship under Dr. David V. Rajan, one of the pioneers of arthroscopy in India, at the Ortho One Orthopaedic Specialty Center, India. He now works as an Assistant Professor of Orthopaedics at Saveetha Medical College and Hospital, Chennai, India, and as a Consultant Shoulder and Sports surgeon at Ravina Hospital, Chennai, India. He is also the Research Co-Lead at the Orthopaedic Research Group, Coimbatore, India. He believes in Regenerative Orthopaedic Solutions and strongly values Translational Research.
