Alexander Aleem MD

Dr. Alexander Aleem is a shoulder and elbow specialist, Associate Professor, Vice Chair of Education and Residency Program Director at Washington University in St. Louis. He focuses on all aspects of shoulder and elbow surgery, with special interest in complex arthroscopic reconstructive surgery and shoulder arthroplasty.
Dr. Aleem received his medical degree at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis. He completed a residency in Orthopaedic Surgery at Washington University School of Medicine and Barnes-Jewish Hospital, where he served as the Administrative Chief Resident. Dr. Aleem then went on to complete fellowship training in shoulder and elbow surgery at The Rothman Institute at Thomas Jefferson University.
